Canada Did Something Right.

They told this guy to take a flying leap:

Why? He is wanted in the US for being a deserter.

CP Online:
TORONTO (CP) - An American war dodger who fled the U.S. military because he believed the invasion of Iraq (news - web sites) was criminal has lost his bid for refugee status in Canada in a case closely watched on both sides of the border.

In a written ruling released Thursday, the Immigration and Refugee Board said Jeremy Hinzman had not made a convincing argument that he faced persecution in the United States.
This is one of the best things to come from Canada since the Mackenzie Brothers.

Seriously, this is good news from our neighbors to the north. This guy is a piece of crap in my book. He swore an oath to protect the Constitution of the United States of America, but when the going got a tough, he tucked tail and ran. WIMP!

Way to set the example for your son. "Yes I want to be in the Army for the benefits, but I don't want to do my job". Do you have no integrity? You knew what you were getting into when you signed your name. If it wasn't for his waiting justice, I wouldn't let him back in the Land of the Free.

If you don't want to do the job of a soldier, which is going to war when your elected leaders so task, than don't raise your right hand and get a less prestigious job. Can you say “Would you like fries with that?”

BlackFive needs to add this guy to his "Bust their Chops" list!
